I've been busy making changes to both Craft Cove and Flower Cove.  I'm changing every page over to photo gallery elements.  This will take me a while to do.  But once it's done it will make it a bit quicker for me to list things.  The way it is now, I have to individually add heaps of elements for each and every item, then fill each one individually.  This new method means I just add the images of the jewellery then add the descriptions.

It will also be easier to see all the handcrafted items, there won't be so much scrolling down the page to see everything.  They're small thumbnail images at first, but you can hover or click on an image to see the item larger and the information about it.

I will no longer list when an item is sold, because I can always make a new one from scratch anyway.  So I will let you know if it's sold when you add you're order, so you can either have a custom one made, or choose another item.

Flowers are always a great gift for Valentines Day.

With beaded flowers they never die or go brown, but can last a lifetime.

Latest Beaded Wedding Bouquet

This is the arrangement I came up with after making beaded flowers for a customer to add to her wedding bouquet. In the end she used all of my beaded flowers and some other crystals and things. It was an amazing arrangement, and I'll post a blog about that another time.

I've used almost all the same flowers and stems I made for her arrangement, and there are nearly 60 stems all up in this arrangement. I've used tulle in the arrangement, for the collar, and for the handle. I've then done a clever wrapping technique with satin ribbon around the handle.

Beaded Flower Bouquet

I've finished a beaded bouquet that has three roses in different stages of development, a bud, a medium rose, and a fully opened rose. There are small beaded flowers around it, and there's a red ribbon to finish off. The roses are all done in a lovely pink shade, and each one has a set of calyx leaves, and a few larger leaves on the stem. Each stem is wrapped in floral tape.
